"The Street Children of Quetzaltenango:

Solutions for the New Millennium"

Q. Is it possible to help
the poorest of the poor
in Guatemala?

A. Yes. Come hear how.

Guadalupe Pos, a Quiché Maya social worker from Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, is visiting New Mexico to share how his organization helps homeless children join caring families and recover from the torments of life on the street.

Mr. Pos is co-director of the Escuela de la Calle ("Street School"), a non-profit indigenous organization which has been working with urban homeless and at-risk children for the past five years.
